Ser avaliador do Instituto Iberoamericano de Estudos Jurídicos (IBEROJUR) representa uma excelente oportunidade para fortalecer o currículo acadêmico e ampliar a visibilidade profissional no meio jurídico-científico internacional. O Instituto é reconhecido por sua atuação em diversas áreas do Direito e das Ciências Sociais, promovendo eventos, publicações e colaborações com universidades e centros de pesquisa em países ibero-americanos e europeus.

Ao integrar o corpo de pareceristas do IBEROJUR, o avaliador contribui directamente para a qualidade das produções científicas e passa a fazer parte de uma rede de pesquisadores comprometidos com a excelência acadêmica.

REGRAS/EDITAL DE CANDIDATURA  (clique aqui): 

1. DO OBJETO
1.1. Selecionar Avaliadores de perfil Científico-Jurídico para compor o corpo de pareceristas do Instituto Iberoamericano de Estudos Jurídicos, no período de 1º de setembro de 2025 a 1º de setembro de 2026.

2. DOS REQUISITOS
2.1. Preferencialmente Doutorado em Direito ou áreas afins; ou ter concluído o Mestrado em Direito ou áreas afins a mais de dois anos.
2.2. Possuir proficiência em ao menos um dos seguintes idiomas:

  • Português

  • Inglês

  • Espanhol

  • Italiano

3. DAS ÁREAS DE AVALIAÇÃO
3.1. Cada candidato indicará, no momento da inscrição, até duas áreas de pesquisa de sua expertise.

4. DAS ATRIBUIÇÕES E PRAZOS
4.1. Emitir pareceres técnicos-científicos sobre artigos submetidos;
4.2. Cumprir o prazo máximo de 10 (dez) dias corridos, contados a partir do envio de cada manuscrito;
4.3. O não cumprimento do item 4.2 em duas avaliações seguidas, implicará na exclusão automática do avaliador da lista de pareceristas.

5. DA CERTIFICAÇÃO E DO REGISTRO
5.1. Cada parecer emitido dará direito a um Certificado de Avaliador expedido pelo Instituto no prazo de 15 dias após a avaliação;
5.2. O avaliador poderá mencionar em seu currículo sua participação como parecerista do Instituto no período letivo de 1/9/2025 a 1/9/2026.

6. VIGÊNCIA
6.1. Este edital vigorará de 1º de setembro de 2025 até 1º de setembro de 2026;
6.2. Ao término deste período, será aberto novo processo seletivo, e os avaliadores interessados deverão candidatar-se novamente.

7. DAS INSCRIÇÕES
7.1. Envio de documentos por e-mail para cientifico@iberojur.com até 31 de julho de 2025, contendo:

  • Currículo atualizado (Lattes, Ciencia Vitae, ORCID ou equivalente);

  • Carta de motivação (e-mail escrito com no máximo 800 palavras), com indicação de:
    a) Experiência prévia em revisão de periódicos científicos;
    b) Resultados e contribuições na(s) área(s) de atuação;
    c) Disponibilidade para cumprimento de prazos.

8. DA SELEÇÃO
8.1. A Comissão de Editoração Científica avaliará os documentos e a carta de motivação, considerando:

  • Titulação acadêmica e experiência;

  • Adequação às áreas de avaliação indicadas;

  • Histórico de publicações e atividades de revisão.

9. DA DIVULGAÇÃO DOS RESULTADOS
9.1. O resultado preliminar será comunicado por e-mail até 08 de agosto de 2025;
9.2. Eventuais recursos deverão ser encaminhados em até 3 (três) dias úteis após a divulgação.

10. DAS DISPOSIÇÕES FINAIS
10.1. Os casos omissos serão decididos pela Diretoria do Instituto;
10.2. Este edital entra em vigor na data de sua publicação.

 

 

To select articles for the Ibero-American Institute of Legal Studies (IBEROJUR) is an excellent opportunity to strengthen one’s academic résumé and gain greater visibility within the international legal-scientific community. The Institute is recognized for its work across various areas of Law and Social Sciences, promoting events, publications, and collaborations with universities and research centers in Ibero-American and European countries.

CALL FOR APLICATIONS:

1. OBJECT
1.1. To select Scientific-Legal profile Reviewers to join the panel of peer reviewers of the Ibero-American Institute of Legal Studies, for the period from September 1, 2025, to September 1, 2026.

2. REQUIREMENTS
2.1. Preferably hold a Ph.D. in Law or related fields; or have completed a Master’s degree in Law or related fields more than two years ago.
2.2. Proficiency in at least one of the following languages:

  • Portuguese

  • English

  • Spanish

  • Italian

3. AREAS OF EVALUATION
3.1. Each applicant shall indicate, at the time of application, up to two research areas of expertise.

4. DUTIES AND DEADLINES
4.1. To issue technical-scientific reviews of submitted articles;
4.2. To meet the maximum deadline of 10 (ten) calendar days from the date each manuscript is sent;
4.3. Failure to comply with item 4.2 in two consecutive reviews will result in automatic removal of the reviewer from the peer review panel.

5. CERTIFICATION AND RECORDING
5.1. Each completed review entitles the reviewer to a Certificate of Evaluation issued by the Institute within 15 days after the evaluation;
5.2. The reviewer may mention their participation as a peer reviewer for the Institute in their résumé for the academic period from 9/1/2025 to 9/1/2026.

6. TERM OF VALIDITY
6.1. This call will be valid from September 1, 2025, to September 1, 2026;
6.2. At the end of this period, a new selection process will be opened, and interested reviewers must apply again.

7. APPLICATION
7.1. Submit documents by email to cientifico@iberojur.com by July 31, 2025, including:

  • Updated résumé (Lattes, Ciencia Vitae, ORCID, or equivalent);

  • Motivation letter (email text of up to 800 words), including:
    a) Previous experience in scientific journal reviewing;
    b) Results and contributions in the field(s) of expertise;
    c) Availability to meet deadlines.

8. SELECTION
8.1. The Scientific Editorial Committee will evaluate the documents and motivation letter based on:

  • Academic qualifications and experience;

  • Alignment with the indicated areas of evaluation;

  • Publication record and previous peer review activity.

9. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS
9.1. The preliminary result will be communicated by email by August 8, 2025;
9.2. Any appeals must be submitted within 3 (three) business days after the announcement.

10. FINAL PROVISIONS
10.1. Omitted cases will be decided by the Institute’s Board of Directors;
10.2. This call enters into force on the date of its publication.
